Installation

Software and data for Windows are stored in pkzip compressed format and need to be unzipped into an empty folder. No further installation is necessary if you run the Matlab version. No changes are made to the registry or other system files. If you want to run the standalone version you first need to install the Matlab Compiler Runtime (MCR). Further installation instructions are given in the software manual (section 7.2).

The Linux standalone version was compressed with the command:

tar -zcvf timesat32_standalone_linux64.tar.gz timesat32

To uncompress it use the command:

tar -zxvf timesat32_standalone_linux64.tar.gz

You may then need to change the file properties:

chmod 755 * -R

The files timesat32_matlab_Win64_Linux64.zip and timesat32_standalone_Win64.zip are uncompressed using pkzip in Windows.
